I have ADHD, emphasis on both the attention deficit + hyperactivity lol.

I was assigned female at birth and have recently started my transition. Which is why I wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD until my late 20s. Women’s symptoms are very different, and less obvious than men’s.

I am 1/4 Korean, 1/4 Cuban and 1/2 Filipino.

I am part of the dead dad’s club. Sorry to any of you who are also part of this terrible club. I love you.

I’ve been writing my whole life. And I keep every single note, letter, or card that anyone has ever sent me.

I worked as an English teacher in Daegu, South Korea in 2012.

I went to Pepperdine University and thought I was going to be a diplomat lol.

I got my job at BuzzFeed from writing a viral post called “What It’s Like To Be A Girl as Told by Girls, Bridesmaids, and Mean Girls.

I stayed there for 5 years and learned almost everything I know about producing content from there.

I am obsessed with pop culture and am constantly quoting movie quotes in the exact intonation they were said. Don’t estomp your little last season Prada shoes at me honey!

I have seen more rom-coms than the average human being. Like A LOT more. But sorry to say, have not been impressed with the modern crop. For reference, I think the last great modern rom-com was To All The Boys I Loved Before.

I shamelessly love pop music.

The movie I have watched most in my life is The Wedding Planner.

The movie I most relate to is Funny Girl.

The movie that made me understand feminism was The First Wives’ Club.

I love British television and how truly soothing it is. The hosts are always whispering. Why? I love it.

I love typography and etymology.

I love me a good fancam and/or YouTube fanedit. I am and have always been a fangirl.

^ To that point. As a teenager my dad made me start buying my own ink for the printer because I was printing SO much Harry + Hermione fan fiction.

I write TV (currently developing a show for ABC) but have previously written for Home Economics and Good Trouble.

I wrote a book called Read This For Inspiration.

I love movie scores + soundtracks.

I’m a sucker for a good cardigan.

I’ve circumnavigated the globe on a ship! AKA I did Semester at Sea.

So far, blondes do have more fun.

I’m an unapologetic Delta Gamma and being in a sorority was my favorite part of college. Love + ITB!
